Yogesh naresh patel (oil /chem. Tanker) Chief mate class 2y 2010 Examiner-capt raman bala at greenock mca 1515-1615 on 19th oct 2010 Result pass
Was waiting at security gate at 1445 got security checked. Capt Raman bala brought me in and asked me to sit in waiting room. My orals started at 1515 Capt. Raman bala went thru my cdc, passport, seaservice testimonial. He told me I shall be a chief officer on oil tanker. Asked me that master rcvd orders to load crude oil max intake my action? Cargo loading plan procedure? What information will you provide the master? My consideration wit regds to stability of vsl? How should I prepare my cargo plan ? What r the contents on it? c/o standing orders for duty officers? Asked me what r the pollution prevention equipments on board your vsl ? Next asked me to prepare my vsl for safety equipment survey ? Along wit 5yearly load testing of lifeboat? c/o duties? Dos and ship shore safety checklist? At load port 2 stbd double bottom ballast tank valve unoperational action? Asked me on risk assessment and enclosed space entry procedure? Permit to work?
