-Then asked me about the magnetic compass and how to plot the compass bearing on the chart.

-Then he checked my documents and asked me about my previous ship.

-Then he asked what was your last voyage, and told me to plan the passage.

-How to correct charts and Sailing directions.

-What are the contents in WNM.

-Duties while performing Navigational watch?

-Life boat drills, when it is conducted as per law. And how to launch free fall using davit?

-Asked me about the criteria’s for E/R bilges discharge in special area?

-Fire in port. What is the first action?

-Emergency, what will you do if steering gear is failed?

-Duties of OOW while discharging Crude oil?

-What all precautions to take while COW operation?

-You saw 12 blips on radar what will you do?

-What search pattern should be used for single ship?

-ROR, 6 situations. Smarty board, 2 laminated cards.

Buoyage he told me to explain each buoy and then navigate through. 4 buoys, lateral buoy, preferred channel, cardinal buoy, and special mark and where all it is used.

And then ‘PASSED’ stamp on my NOE.

My suggestion to all is, just be confident and you will pass.
